Automated Systems – there are many different systems to cater for the demands of any organisation.  Unlike a Manual system the automated system transfers all the data recorded to a computer for processing time sheets and from here performs many calculations for the requirement of the organisation one of the main calculations being payroll.  This not only allows the workforce within the organisation to be more productive, but eliminates many errors.  There are some automated systems that still require an operator to physically transfer data from the clocking point to the computer, this can be done via a portable memory device.
