We start the year off with some decisions to make...
  1. Do we go in the Cloud, Online or Upgrade our Server?
  2. Do we go with Office 365 or Office 2016?
  3. Do we need more training with changes in staff?

Online or Upgrade our Server?  Which is best?
We have been working with a number of clients moving across toOnlineHHA or upgrading their server and we would like to help you make  the right choice.  

When deciding on which is best for your environment here are just a few questions you need to answer:
  1. What is the bigger picture for our software needs?
  2. Is our current environment working?  
  3. Do we need to consider an alternative?  
  4. Is the capital cost an issue?
  5. Is your internet speed fast enough?
  6. Are we best to review our whole business software and hardware and work through what we want to achieve in stages or all at once?
  7. What happens in a disaster will we have access to our data?
  8. Do we need more work/home flexibility for the team?
These are just some questions that can help.

Remember this is an investment for your business to succeed so we want to be able to help you make the right decision for your team and business needs.

Risk Management Systems - Where do we start?
For some their Risk Management systems are in place, but for some they are still working through to get it all compiled and in place by 1st April 2016.  

We all know that software is great for keeping records, generating reminders, holding all the documentation and generating fantastic reports for a risk management system, but we also know you can only achieve this if you have the data to put into the software system!

Payments under a Consumer Credit Control
Under a consumer credit contract, a borrower makes a payment the lender MUST apply the payment to the borrower's account as soon as practicable except if the contract sets out a schedule for payments.

This ensures a borrower isn't incorrectly charged interest or fees for late payments and lenders can still process payments in the way that best suits their operator.  Read More

What is the difference between Office 365 plans and Office 2016 suites?

OfficeImage-621-803Office 365 plans include the complete suite of Office applications, plus other services that are enabled over the Internet, including extra cloud storage with OneDrive and Skype minutes for home use.  With Office 365 you get the full, installed Office experience on PCs, Macs, tablets (including Windows, iPad, and Android) and smartphones.  Office 365 plans are available as a monthly or annual subscription.  With Office 365, upgrades are always included with your subscription.

Office 2016 suites, including Office Home & Student and Home & Business, include applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote; they are available as a one-time purchase for use on a single PC or Mac.  The applications are not automatically updated; to get the latest version you must purchase Office again when the new version becomes available.
